Spotify Web Player: How To Best Access And Use All Its Features

If you’re tired of listening to those annoying but witty Spotify ads between your songs, we’re afraid getting a premium Spotify connection is your one and only escape route. However, if you’re tired of dealing with so many apps everywhere, be it your smartphone, laptop or PC, then you don’t have to worry at all. There is no need to download the Spotify app to listen to your playlist when you can use the Spotify Web Player instead. All you need is access to a good internet connection and web browser, and you’re ready to dive into the realms of your favourite music.

How to Access The Spotify Web Player

Step 1: The Spotify Web player will easily make you forget the need to download its app. Just open your web browser and go to Spotify’s website https://open.spotify.com/. If you already have an account on Spotify, then you can log into it via the Login button on the top right corner of its web interface. If not, then you would need to sign up using the Sign Up button on the left of the Login button on the top right corner, or via the Sign Up Free option at the bottom of the interface.

Step 2: You are provided with various options for logging in or signing up into the platform. All you need to do is just select the required means, fill in your details accordingly and click on the Log In/ Sign Up button at the bottom.

How To Use All Its Features

Once logged in, you enter the Spotify web player’s interface, which, if you are a Spotify desktop app user, would find no different from it. If you were previously playing any song on Spotify’s app, it would be displayed on the ribbon at the bottom as highlighted below, so that you can continue playing songs right from where you left off.

In the centre are displayed all the different variations and combinations of playlists, albums, songs, or podcasts that may be trending in your region, or is customized by Spotify especially according to your taste in music, or includes those which you have recently played. You can listen to your liked songs, those from your favourite genre of music, from your favourite movie album or artist, or you can select a playlist suggested by Spotify based on your recent listening or your liking. You can also discover new music or listen to the latest releases if you like.
